War Will be Long and Formidable
BRITAIN WILL NEVER STOP (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, April 20. The Frime Minister, Mr. Churchill, in reviewing Czech soldiers “somewhere in Britain," said: “This is undoubtedly a long and formidable war." The strength and mendacity of tho enemy, he added, made it certain that the conflict must engage a very good part of the energy of the human race, and we must never stop until right was re-established. “It has been a great refreshment for me to sec you and your eminent President, Dr. Benes," said Mr. Churchill. “I do not know what the course of the war will be, and I do not know how it will reach its end, but I am sure that Britain will never cease from the war with all her energy and all the resources of her Empire.''
