Japanese Advances On Chinese Ports
Received Monday, 11.35 p.m. CHUNGKING, April 21. A Chinese communique confirmed that 2000 had landed at the Min River Estuary and were advancing toward Foochow. Another detachment captured Chenhai and Haimen on Sunday while 2000 marching westward fifteen miles from Haimen captured Huangyen. The 3000 which captured Shaohsing have been reinforced and are now reported to be converging on the railway town of Chuki 40 miles south of Hangchow.
