Takaro Lady Bowlers
The final match for the Takaro Singles Challenge Cup was played on Saturday, Mrs. L. Graham defeating Mrs. It/ Field. A number of Takaro players including several men, visited the Hokowhitu Club on Thursday to take part in a patriotic appeal tournament. Airs. F. Wackrow, of Takaro. proved the winning skip in the ladies’ section, with Airs. Cox, Hokowhitu, as lead.
