(From Our Own Correspondent.) There was un attendance of nine at th« annual meeting of tho Biolo class j held at Air. il. Wood’s residence. The i matter of leader was hold over, Air. H. Wood being juado deputy leader, M.ss YV. Vautipr secretary, Aliss J. Johansen treasurer, Aliss A. Olsen librarian. Tho j next meeting will be ou Tuesday at Air. •E. Johansen s residence. I On Sunday atteruoon a Harvest .Thanksgiving Service was hold, tho Sunday school combining with the church. Rev. O. Eaton conducted the service and gave an address to tho children as well as to adults. | There was a good attendance at tin gard-u circle’ held last Tuesday. Mrs. (Graham of Palmerston North gave u (talk on hand bouquets, wreaths, spray * and deeorated baskots. Ou Thursday next the women’s institute niembors will visit Air. Just’s nursery at 1.30 p.m. N.Z.L.P. YVhen the YVhakarongo branch of tho N.Z.L.P. met last weoK Air. F. Eagle presided over a good attendance including several visitors. The year has been a quiet one but meetings have been held at intervals. Tho election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mr. F. Eagle; vice president, Mr. E. F. Johansen; secretary, Air. H. Wood.
