Attack on Burma Possible
LONDON, Feb. 24. A message from Bangkok states that Japanese naval activities in the Gulf of Siam are under careful observation in I the Thai capital. Meanwhile, the belief is growing that the Japanese will attack Burma across Thailand. The Paris radio announced to-day that the authorities in Indo-China had cancelled all army leave and that the French Far Eastern Fleet was reported to be cruising in the Gulf of Siam. The United States Minister to Bangkok, Mr. Grant, has advised American citizens who have no urgent reason for remaining in Thailand, to depart for home.
