I YOUR OFF DAYS INDICATE THE NEED FOR j DR. MORSE’S INDIAN ROOT PILLS. Even those folk who usually enjoy good health do not always feel right, up to the mark. They have their off days. There may not be very much wrong. Perhaps it is a Bilious‘Attack, Sluggish Liver, Sick Headache, Indiges tion, Constipation, or some Rheumatism. I Nevertheless, these complaints cause a certain amount of distress and, if neglected, are liable to lead to other and more serious trouble. That is one of the various reasons why it is so necessary to keep a bottle of Dr Morse’s Indian Boot Pills in tho house and take a. dose, or better still a, course, to check and overcome the everyday complaints which develop in the home from time to time. They mak© you feel brighter.

MAIDEN STARES FIELD AT W r OODVILLE MYRNA LOY AN ACCEPTOR In the list of acceptances for the first day of the Woodville meeting, which opens on Saturday, Myrna Loy was missed from the acceptors for the Maiden Stakes. MISHAP TO SIR BEAU WANGANUI TRACK NOTES HORSES FOR WOODYILLE Wanganui horses engaged at Woodville this week-end were given their semi-final gallops on Tuesday morning. The weather was ideal, but there was a. decided nip in the air. Operations started at 5.45 a.m. The course proper was open and on this Homily, with her trainer in the saddle, put in a round trotting, and then a circuit at good three-quarter Dace, the last, six furlongs taking 1.225. The Posterity mare is engaged iu the Woodvillo Cup on Saturday at S.O. She looks in excellent shape after her racing at Hawera, where she won the Tonks Stakes in good style, and on that form should again bo hard to beat. Sir Beau went out to run home fast front the three-furlong peg, and was going along nicely till halfway down the straight, when he stumbled and was pulled up. He walked off the trark very lame. It was at first, thought he had* put his foot in a hole, but an examination revealed no fault in the going, and the mishap was probably caused by the gelding knuckling over. On No. 1 grass track Eurotns and Uvedalo (with a lightweight up) were companions in a run over five furlongs, the former finishing in front going easily in 1.5. Dynasty and Curtail were associated in a* spin over six furlongs, the former being well clear at the finish in 1.20 and easing up. Curtail, ridden by a lightweight, would not do his best. Belle Cane, Gold Nut and a number of others did useful work. After breakfast, Kingcraft, Algerian and several others were given serviceable tasks. BEAU VITE AND PROUD FOX The New Zealand horses, Beau Vite and Proud Fox, who have arrived in Sydney, appeared on the Baudwick tracks on Tuesday and did steady work. Both lost some skin on the voyage over, but otherwise are in fine condition. 1 RIDING ENGAGEMENTS FOR WOODYILLE Biding engagements for Woodville have been announced as under:— B. H. Morris: Mittie, Last Acre, Pinocchio, Golden Moon. G. K. Tattersall: Jumna, Talenta, Fleche d'Or, Newbury Queen, Gold Bridge. S. Anderson: Drake’s Drum, Moradabad, Fly by Night or Wildfire, Lady Ex, Silver Shekel. J. Williamson: Star Zone, Dainty Sue, Screen Star, Moutoa Bond, Rhodes. S. Waddell: Homily. Yictoire, Stairway, Namesake, Counter or Cheerful Lady. RIDING AT TE AROHA W. J. Broughton and H. Stewart will be riding at the Te Aroha meeting.
