Nazis Say Britain About to Invade Eire
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Jan. 5. Definite proof that the bombing of Eire was carried out by German aeroplanes has robbed the Nazis of the opportunity of following their favourite form of ovasion and pretending that Britain was responsible for the unproxoked attack on a neutral country. In an endeavour to divert attention from what, may be an incovenient subject, the Nazi news services are now spreading allegations that Britain is about to invade Eire. It is authoritatively stated in London that there is no truth whatever in these allegations.
