SIAM AND INDO-CHINA MAY REACH SETTLEMENT (Received 4, 11.45 a.m.) HANOI. Jan. S. Informed circles in Hanoi stated that a third Power, probably the United States, is reported to have persuaded Siam and Indo-China to settle their disputes peacefully. Unofficial quarters believe that Britain and the United States arc inducing Siam to reach an agree* me n't.
