INNINGS Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 3. Pressing homo the advantage they had gained Wellington beat Canterbury by* lour wickets in the interprovincial cr*ket match concluded to-day. Wellington faced a deficit of 43 on the first innings and when Canterbury ; s second innings ended soon after iuucn for 233 Wellington had to make 277 to win in three hours and a-quarter. This was accomplished with 15 minutes to spare for tne loss of eix wickote. The conditions for play were excellent. Tho heroes oi the match were Anderson, the young left-hander who played an excellent lighting innings for canterbury of 116, hi* nrst century in big cricket, and Donnelly, who has only recently returned to the North islaud after two seasons in Canteroury.
