Munitions Overtime in Australia
BAN THREATENED BY UNIONS Received Thursday, 5.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Jan. 2. The metal trade unions threaten to ban overtime work in munitions and other heavy industries unless their overtime pay is exempted from the new Federal taxes. Most of the munitions factories are working overtime and if this is banned the war effort will be seriously hampered.
