Aliss Nora Grant, of Palmerston North, is spending the holidays with her sister, Airs. E. B. Gordon, Fern Flats, Marton.
Aliss Marie Presnaw, of Island Bay, Wellington, will leave this week to spend tlio summer holidays visiting friends in the Alanawatu, Rangitikei and Hawke’s Bay.
Aliss Nelle Scanlan, who spent Christmas with her sister, Airs. T. J. Rodgers, Church Street, has returned to Wellington, her niece, Miss Babette Rodgers accompanying them.
Miss Frances O’Sullivan, who has been police matron in Wellington for tho last three years, has resigned from the department and will leave shortly for Australia, where her marriage will take place.
