Terrific Damage By British Bombs
1100 DEATHS FROM TWO EXPLOSIONS Received Sunday, 6.30 p.m. LONDON, Lee. 14. A bomb which dropped on the Krupp works at Essen penetrated the shelter under the works and killed 400 workers and injured 1800. Recently a bomb broke a watermain in Berlin and simultaneously blocked a sneiter which was flooded, drowning 700. Tho British United Press correspondent on the German frontier says he is assured that these reports are authentic. They are certainly widely believed in Germany where the facts of the R.A.F. raids are spreading among the population.
