Germans Flying at Rarefied Altitudes

ALMOST AT LIMIT SET BY OXYGEN SUPPLY Received Thursday, 9 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 30. The Daily Telegraph says that high flying by the Germans over Britain has almost reached the limit set hy their oxygen supply, and they will be forced to use a pressure suit and pressure cabin if they wish to go higher. R.A.F. pilots have encountered Germans at 37,500 feet —5000 under the scientifically determined upper practicable limit for military aviation. No country, as far as is known, has an appreciable number of planes which can be operated over 40,000 feet.
