Widespread R.A.F. Raids on Libya
NUMEROUS BASES AND AERODROMES BOMBED Received Thursday, 11 pan. CAIRO, Oct. 30. An R.A.P. communique records a ■widespread series of raids against Italian bases and aerodromes in Libya, attacks being made on Dema, Tmimi, Gazala, Tobunk, Eladem, Menastir and Solium. High-explosive bombs at Dema fell near a number of ships, probably causing considerable damage. Two large fires were started on the landing ground at Solium, while bombs fell among aircraft on the ground at Menastlr.
