Feilding Salvation Army
VISIT OF COMMISSIONER During the week-end, Lieut.-Co'mmis-sioner J. Evan Smith, of the Salvation Army, will pay a visit to Feilding, where he will conduct services on Saturday and Sunday. It will be recalled that the Lieut.-Commissioner wa3 private secretary to the founder of the Salvation Army, the late General William Both, and subsequently worked in the sarao capacity for the late General Bramwell Booth. For some years he was in charge of Salvation Army work in South Africa and later in Wales. His visit to Feilding will be a welcome one and it is anticipated that there will be record attendances at the public services which he will conduct.
