House Party
AIR FORCE QUEEN FUNCTION A house party was held at the residence of Mr. and Mtb. R. Peebles, Ormond Road, on Wednesday evening in aid of tho Air Force Queen. There was an exceptionally large gathering and a pleasant evening was spent playing cards, games, competitions and in dancing. Winners of the cards were:— Ladies, Mrs. H. J. McPeak; men, Mr. Garlick. Competitions drawn during the evening were won by Mrs. Baker and Mr. C. Vowell.
