WELLINGTON TROTTING ACCEPTANCES

Acceptances for the November meeting of the Welltingtou Trotting Club, to be held at liutt Park next Saturday: PETONE HANDICAP (T.). of £175; 3.42 class; 1£ miles.

WELLINGTON MEETING TRAINERS AND JOCKEYS Training honours at the Wellington meeting were shared by W. H. Dwyer (Wanganui) and J. H. Jefferd (Ngata rawa), who each saddled up three winners, the former Belle Cane (twice) and Sir Beau, and the latter llariua, Poutatau and Blaudisher. Dwyer won the only three races his horses eon tested. W. A. Watson (Blenheim), with Esperance Bay, T. R. George (Trentham), with Par Avion, F. D. Jones (Riccartou), with Royal Chief, and G. C. Swinerd (Grocuxuefidows), with Charles Edward, each won a double. W. U. Hume (Levin), P. Burgess (Trentham), L. G. Paul (Wanganui), A. M. Wright (Woodville), J. M. Camerou (Hastings), M. Williams (Otaki), B. Burgess (Opaki), H. and A. Cults (Ric carton), F. A. Roberts (Kieearton) and P. T. and W. Hogan (WasUdyke) each produced one winner. W. J. Broughton, t\lio has already established a commanding lead on the jockeys’ ladder, was tho most successful horseman at tho meeting, riding four winners. R, Howell and H. N. Wiggins each rodo three winners, and L. J. Ellis, B. H. Morris and S. Waddell two each. R. E. Hawes, P. Burgess, S. A. Wright, P. Williams, A. Jenkins, A. Midwood, A. O. Messervy and A. Anderson had single successes.

APPE ENTICE SIDING WELL D. W. Redstone, one of the apprentices attached to L. G. Morris’s stable at Awapuni, has had & run of successes lately. At the Otaki meeting he rode | The Buzzer and Wings of Bong to vie* ’ tory. At. the Masterton meeting he won on tSir Rabbi, at Stratford on Sur-veyor-General, and at the Waverley meeting he saluted the judge after wins on The Buzzer, Wings of Song and [ Surveyor-General.
