To-night’s Ball A final reminder is given dancers of tho grand patriotic ball to be held in tho Woodville Drill Hall to-night. Proceeds will be divided between the four queens. To-day’a Baby Show The annual sale of work and baby show of the Woodville Salvation Army will be held in the Woodville W.I. Hall to-night and this afternoon at 7 p.m. and 2.30 p.m. The baby show will commence at 3 p.m. and admission is free to the hall. The baby show is open for babies within a radius of 25 miles. W'.D.F.U. Concert Tbe Woodville W.D.F.U, annual birthday concert and dance will be held in the W.I. Hall to-morrow evening. The patronage of friends of this worthy organisation is solicited. Visiting artists are expected from Foxton, Wanganui and Palmerston North, besides items to be rendered by popular local entertainers, and a play by the drama members, under the direction of Mrs. Whillaus. The programme will be composed of vocal, instrumental, elocutionary and dancing numbers. The proceeds from a raffle of the birthday cake will be divided equally among the campaign funds of the four Queen Carnival candidates, who are to be specially invited to attend.
