LUFTWAFFE FAILS TO SMASH FACTORIES
(Received 27. 12.45 p.m.) LONDON. Sept. 26.
The Minister of Supply, Mr Herberi Morrison, in a speech to-day, said that thanks to the courage and steadfastness of the workers, the Luftwaffe’? efforts to interrupt the work of British arms factories had conspicuously failed With isolated exceptions, the damage inflicted was vastly less than the enemy must have expected.
