Cabin Boy Lost Overboard

Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Sept. 26. As his ship, an overseas trador, was leaving harbour last night, H. Carr, aged 19, of Cardiff, England, a cabin boy, disappeared overboard near Ward island. The ship’s boat was manned to look for him, and the examination vessel Janie Seddon at tho Heads was signalled and left her station to assist.

The water was choppy owing to a fresh northerly, and despite a two-hour search the lad was not found.
