Germans Active In North Norway
IMPORTANT POINTS OCCUPIED (British Official "Wireless.) Received Thursday, 9.20 p.m. RUGBY, Sept. 25. The British Minister to Helsingfors, Mr. G. G. M. Vercker, has been instructed to protest strongly to tho Finnish Government against its action. This Finnish action constitutes a clear breach of neutrality and international law. The Helsingfors correspondent of tho Daily Telegraph says that great military activity is reported from Northern Norway. Strongly-reinforced troops aro occupying importants up to Kirkenes, uear at which there is an extensive works for the extraction of iron
The haste with which the invaders are improving railways and roads, says tho correspondent, shows that considerable importance is being attached to the district.
British reconnaissance and bombing flights to North Norway are being intensified.
