The. following is a list of articles sent away since the branch was formed in May:—76 hussifs, 31 silk garments, 6 quilts, 13 scarves, 13 singlets, 12 shaving carryalls, 100 balaclavas, 15 pair gloves, 50 pair mittens, 6 pair socks, 38 face cloths, 30 ditty bags, 12 shaving bags, 36 handkerchiefs and 7 sacks of refugee clothing. All those who have helped in this effort are thanked. The auxiliary acknowledges with thanks £1 donated by Mrs. Wood, Snr. It is expected that the Dental Nurse will visit tho local school and take up her duties at the local clinic some time this week.

Tho friends of Mrs. C. Deihl, late of Rangiwahia, who is now living in Palmerston North, will be sorry to learn that she is an inmate of the Palmerston North hospital following an operation on Sunday. Everyone will wish her a speedy recovery.
