NEW DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION
(Received 8, 12.45 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 7. Mr Frank Pick, organiser of the evacuation of London last September, has been appointed Director-General of the Ministry of Information. He succeeds Sir Kenneth Lee, who has resigned.
