Secondary Schools at Tennis
ANNUAL TOURNAMENT On Saturday tlio annual tennis tournament conducted between the secondary schools in tho Manawatu Lawn Tennis Association’s area, was held in Palmerston North, the Girls’ High School and Manawatu Tennis Club courts being placed at their disposal. In the matter of points, Horowhenua Collego pupils ran out winners in both sections, the points being:— Girls (Innes and Oakley Cup): Horowhenua College 22, Palmerston North t-ligh School and Palmerston North Technical School 17 each, Feilding Agricultural High School 14, Woodville 8.
Boys (G. H. Bennett Cup); Horowhenua College 33, Pahiatua 4, Palmerston North High School 2, Woodville 0. Mr. L. A. Reichenbach had charge of the tournament assisted by Mr. Irwin, Woodville.
