Queensland Tennis Lady Beaten
MISS POOLE VICTORIOUS OVER MISS HARDCASTLE Per I'resa Association. , WANGANUI, Feb. 22. A feature of exhibition tennis on Wanganiu courts to-day was the defeat of Miss M. Hardc&stle (Queensland) by Mist T. Poole (Canterbury), I—6, 6—o, 7—5. It was the first time Miss Hardcastle had been beaten by a New Zealander. Miss T. Wynne (Victoria) beat Miss T. C. Coyne ‘(N.S.W.), 6—2, 2—tf, 6—4. In the doubles, Misses Coyne and Poole beat Miss Wynne and Hardcastle, 6—2, 6—3.
