Patriotic Fund Appeal
(To the Editor.) Sir, —Pending the formation of a local Patriotic Committee, may I be permitted through your columns to make an urgent appeal for donations towards a “gift” fund for the purpose of making presentations to Feilding and district members of the Special Force now on final leave and shortly to embark for service overseas and also to subsequent reinforcements. Subscriptions will be received at tho Borough Office and at the Feilding office of this paper.—l am, etc., T. L. SEDDON, Mayor. Feilding, Dec. 15, 1939.
