Pahiatua Municipal Baths

OPEN NEXT SATURDAY A decision to open the Municipal Baths to the public on Saturday, December 2, was made at a meeting of the Recreations and Reserves Committee for Friday morning last. The chairman (Mr. W. T. Brown) presided, and there were present Cr. S. J. Judd and the Town Clerk (Mr. L. D. Lovelock). It was decided that, subject to the consent of tho Council, Mr. W. Bowden be appointed caretaker. Tho following hours and charges were fixed: Mondays to Thursdays, inclusive, 4—6 p.m. and 7 —9 p.m.; Saturdays, 2—6 p.m. and 7 —9 p.m. Admission charges: Season, men 7s Gd, ladies ss, juniors 3s 6d, school children 2s Gd; adults 3d, junior 2d, school children Id: adult concession tickets, 2s 6d for fifteen admissions. It was agreed that the baths should bo open to the swimming club as from November 24, provided a responsible person were placed in charge.
