It was very welcome as the vegetable garden coi<d do with quite a lot to make things grow. Last Sunday we went to the Showgrounds to see the massed brass and pipe bands. Our judge was a Shorthorn breeder, and it was Shorthorn stock we competed against. I am sending in the’ skilltest and hope it is correct. I hope to take Rosalie to the Feilding ehampionshps which are to be held on December 5. We are wondering who has won the calf records. We havo one little kitten and I call him “Poggey.” My budgies haven’t started tot lay yet. Our tanks are nearly dry and we are hoping rain will come soon.
