Feilding Cricket Association

SOLE SELECTOR APPOINTED A meeting of the committee of the Feilding Cricket Association was held on Thursday evening, Air. J. G. Eliott (president) presiding. There were also present Alessrs C. B. AlcClure, J. Dewe, T. Jones, W. Gleesou and T. Donaldson (secretary). It was resolved to cancel the fixtures for December 2 owing to the Feilding races and to arrange for friendly matches among the players available. The Feilding Athletic Club’s application for use of Kowhai Park on Saturday afternoon, December 9, was regretfully declined. It was decided to write to several exmembers of the defunct Umpires’ Association inviting them to resume umpiring duties. Air. Donaldson was appoiuted sole selector for representative matches. Alessrs McClure aud Donaldson were appointed a postponement committee and Air. Eliott was appointed to act as Feilding delegate on the Alanawatu Cricket Association.
