St John’s Anglican Church

SUCCESSFUL SALE OF WORK Yesterday a successful sale of work and produce was held by St. John’s Anglican Church, Fcilding, in aid of the foreign mission funds. A generous donation of articles for the several stalls reflected the enthusiastic support accorded the sale and patronage was such that the day’s efforts resulted in a return of just on £SO, which was well above the sum aimed at. Last evening Veu. Archdeacon Petrie expressed himself as being well pleased with the response made by parishioners. Those who assisted at the various stalls were: Auxiliary *tall, Mesdamea Kitchen, Delacey, Saywell; Girls’ Club, Mesdames J. Sporle and Pack; produce, Miss M. Petrie and Mesdames 8. Younger and Legge; cakes and sweets, Mesdames Stevens and Byrnes; tea rooms, Mesdames Brodrick J and Dickerson.
