Higher Wages For British Workers
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received Thursday, 9.20 p.ra. LONDON, Nov. 23. A million builders’ labourers will receive a halfpenny an hour rise on December 1. This is the first instalment of a larger increase to be paid on February 1. Because of the cost of living 100,000 railway shopmen have decided to seek an advance of 10s a week.
