Airs. T. H. Gfoome, Hatuma, and Airs. lan Mackie, Waipukurau, aro visitors to Wanganui for a few days.
Mrs. Leonard-Taylor has recovered sufficiently to return to her home in Russell Street to convalesce after her recent illness.
Aliss Fiances Alartin, of Christchurch, who is to be one of Miss Pamela Gaisford's bridesmaids when her marriage to Air. Oran Wall takes place next week, is the guest of Mrs. R. E, Gaisford, Linton Street.
Tho death occured on November 4, in England, of Airs. Alice Gwavas Meincrtzhagen, widow of Sir Ernest Meinertzhagen, of London, and eldGwavas, Carlyon, of “Gwavas," Hawke's Bay, and “ Tregreham," Cornwall, England. Airs. Aleinertzhagen, who was formerly well known in Hawke's Bay, was 86 years old.
