From Our Own Correspondent. Tennis Club Opening Day. The Cheltenham Tennis Club's courts were officially opened for play on Saturday, there being a large attendance of members and visitors from neighbouring clubs. The president, Mr. E. Sinclair, voiced the pleasure of members at so large a gathering and welcchned the visitors. lie then called on Air. C. Dermer. the club patron, to officially open the courts. Alembcrs and visitors took part in a tournament, which was won by Aliss Hazel Alurrav and Air. Roy Petersen, the runners-up being Aliss C. Carter and Air. J. Anderson. Airs. Dermer presented the prizes and congratulated the winners. During the afternoon a clock golf competition took place, the winner being Airs. Dermer, with Aliss Alaisie Alills runner-up.
