. (British Official Wireless) (Received 14, 12.45 p.m.) RUGBY. Oct. 13. / The War Minister, Mr L. Hore-Bel-lsha, revealed to-day that a Frenct military expert described the transportation of the British Expeditionary
Force to France without a single accident as one of the greatest military feats and the first victory for the Allies in the war. Mr Hore-Belisha said: “It is an achievement about which not only the Germans but the French were ignorant/* The Army Corps Commander, Sir John Dill, has been promoted to the rank of general.
