Another Explosion in London
SUSPICIOUS STRANGER NEAR BUILDING United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Sunday, 9.20 p.m. LONDON, Aug. 6. An explosion on tho premises of Miscellaneous Disposals Syndicate, a Government contracting firm, at Holland Park, which was unoccupied over tho Week-end, blew out the sliding doors, filled the street with smoko and shattered glass and set fire to the stockroom.
A man was reported to havo been seen earlier hastily motoring from the
scene. Residents escaping from adjacent buildings effectively used air-raid masks, while firemen quenched the fire from neighbouring roofs.
