Cost of Bombers* Flight
The flight of Vickers Wellington bombers to .New Zealand is estimated to cost the Air Department £20,000. This is one of the interesting points on defence subjects disclosed in the Estimates recently presented to the House of Representatives. Another is that £GO,OOO is proposed to bo spent on landing grounds, neradio and melcrological ( facilities in the Pacific Island dependencies of lho Dominion.
