All Black Trial Matches
UNIONS ASKED TO SUBMIT NOMINATIONS A letter from tho secretary of the New Zealand Rugby Union (Mr. A. E. Ncilson) advising that unions were requested to submit their nominations of players for the trial matches and the North Island v. South Island match, to be played at Wellington on September 23, 27 and 30, and to endorse on the nomination form whether tho player was available for the South African tour if selected, was received at tho meeting of the manugement committee of tho Manawatu Rugby Union last evening. Separate nomination forms are to be used for tho North v. South match and for the trials, and arc to be marked accordingly. The forms were handed to the sole selector, Mr. J. A. Colquhoun.
