WOODVILLE SALE Alessrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report another good yarding of cattle and a small offering of sheep at their Woodville sale held yesterday. Although weather conditions wore very stormy I there was a good attendance and we report an excellent sale for station cattle. The offering of beef comprised several truck lots of station bred cows j which wore not well finished and consequently were not keenly sought after, j Owing to tho wintry conditions dairy stock of all classes met with a slow sale, late rates being maintained. I In the sheep section several pens of I fat ewes and hoggets met with sound competition at fully late rates. Two specially advertised fillies, three- : and four-year on account of the Woodj ville County Council met with splendid ! competition, these horses being brought forward in splendid shaTio by Air. Stuart Clark, the man iu charge. They realised £36 and £37 respectively. Quotations: — Fat ewes, 13s, 13s Cd, 14s, 15s 3d to 17s 6d; fat hoggets, 12s 6d, 13s, 14s to 18s 3d. Cattle; Fat cows ex the dairy, £4, £4 10s, £4 15s, £5, £5 10s to £6; cows, station-bred, £5, £5 ss, £5 10s, £6, £0 10s; 20mos. aud 2Jyr. F.A. steers, £5 10s to £6; empty P.A. cows, £3, £3 5s to £3 10s; spg. cows, £5, £6 to £8 10a.
