Agricultural Survey
A comprehensive survey overseas of agriculture and auimal husbandry has been nmdo by the Hon. I'. 11. Bulcock, Minister of Agriculture in Queensland, who is a through passenger for Sydney by the Niagara. In the course of his tour he has visited South 1 Africa, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Brazil and the United 1 States. Mr Bulcock, who is Queensland representative on tho Australian Council of Agriculture, is accompanied by Mrs Bulcock und by Mr M. U. Cameron, private secretary, and Mrs Cameron. “I am convinced that the agricultural race is going to repose with tho efficient,'* said Mr Bulcock. Each country, he added, was striving for full efficiency and the creation of economy ill agricultural organisation. The country that lagged behind in tho application of modern agricultural methods, both culturally and economically, would be badly left behind in the race for markets.
