RESULTS OF SATURDAY’S GAMES Tho following are the results of the Oroua Rugby Sub-union’s games played on Saturday:— Senior Rangiwahia 21, Kimbolton 8. Waituna 9, Apiti 5. Junior Waituna 11, Rangiwahia 0. Waituna, by defeating Rangiwahia in the junior competition, have now drawn level with the leaders, Rangiwahia, each team having four points, with the Apiti team still to register a win. This contest for the Mitchell shield is now at a very interesting stage. Oroua Representative Team The fololwing team has been selected to represent the Oroua Sub-union in a match against Southern Hawke’s Bay for the Bebington shield at Dannevirko on Saturday next:— Full-back, N. Amadio (captain); wing three-quarters, L. Thompson, S. Thompson; centre three-quarters, J. McKenzie; live-eighths, Pollard, P. Shannon; half-back, Coley; back row, C. Eliott or W. Gibb; side row, Meads, Bielski; locks, Glassford (vice-captain), F. Sowerby; front row, Spillman, Reveil, Revell, J. Elliott. Emergencies: Forward, A. Reilly; backs, Waugh and Lawrence. The above players must attend a practice at Apiti on Thursday at 7.30 p.m. The following are Oroua junior representatives to play Bush at Kimbolton on Saturday next at 2.30 p.m.:— Forwards: Signal (A), Nicholson (W), Morris (W.), Meads (W.), Hogan (A.), Hancock (R.), Curtis (A.); halfback, Thompson (R.); fiive-eightbs, Harris (R.), Wildbore (A.); centre, Mayhew (W.); wings, Woolford (W.), Gibbs (W.); full-back, Carey (R.). Emergencies: Forwards, Blackler (R.), Gledhill (W.), Hemmings (A.); backs, Simpson (R.), I. Mayhew (W.), Martin (W.). A practice will be held at Apiti* this evening at 7.45 p.m.
