War Veterans Parade
800 ALLOTTED TO ANTI-AIRCRAFT AND COAST DEFENCE AUCKLAND, July 22. The Auckland group of the Veterans’ Guard, officially Class 2 of the National Military Reserve, took form and substance at the Drill Hall to-night, when fully 800 ex-officers and men who had served in the Great War gathered at their first muster parade and were allotted to formations for anti-aircraft and coast defence.
