Soviet Terms May Be Accepted
France and Turkey Fear Results of Failure BREAKDOWN DANGER United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. LONDON, July 21. The Paris correspondent of the British United Press states that France has advised Britain to accept the Soviet conditions. Tho French Prime Minister, M. Daladier, fears that the failure of tho negotiations would have very grave consequences. The Istanbul correspondent of The Times says that tho delay in the Russian negotiations is alarming Turkey. If a breakdown occurs, Turkey will seek to conclude her own agreement with Russia about the defence of the Dardanelles.
Britain has advised the Turkish Government that Admiral .Sir Andrew Cunningham, commander-in-chief in tbe Mediterranean, will be visiting Istanbul on August 20 aboard the flagship Warspite. Political circles attach the greatest importance to tho visit.
