A meeting of tho Manawatu branch of the Wanganui College Old Girls’ Association was held in “Tho Times” office on Friday evening, Mrs. K. Ross (Fcilding) being in tho chair. Others present were Mesdamcs A. W. Adcock, G. Mylroi, A. Coup (secretary), Misses X. Coup, M. Millar, F. Anderson, N. Whitta and M. MacLeod. There was an apology from Mrs. G. Dixon. It was decided to vote £1 Is to the Mildred Newcombo memorial fund (Wanganui). An immediate activity will be a social and card evening for old girls and friends.
