In the nu-Jicrn Cook Group their Excellencies received a warm welcomo at the islands of I’enrhyn, Rakahanga, Manihiki and Pukapuka and derived much pleasuro from their visit. At each island there wero tho usual native feasts, dancing and singing, and their Excellencies received many gifts denoting tho goodwill of the people. At Penrhyn the Excellencies were greatly interested in witnessing pearl-shell diving in the lagoon.

H.M.S. Leander arrived at Rarotonga yesterday afternoon, but on account of the weather conditions at the anchorage, she sailed in tho early hours this morning for Bora Bora.
