Dinosaurs ?
Hills deposits is a relative r the titanotheriidae, but with claws instead of hoofs. Here they may find also the bones of a giant flesh-eater, like a bear in appearance, but larger than the Kadiak bear of to-day. In the badlands of the Frenchman River and those south of Wood Mountain, where Dr. Russell proposes to go himself, are found the remains of dinosaurs, more ancient than remains at Cypress Hills by millions of years. Among the varieties of dinosaurs arc the horned Triceratops, the giant flesheater, Tyrannosaurus and various duckbilled and armoured types.
