TO PLAY CANTERBURY AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE

The following team has been selected to represent Massey Agricultural College in the Rugby football match against Canterbury Agricultural College (Lincoln) to-morrow. The Lincoln fifteen arc the leaders of the Ellesmere Rugby Sub-union and among their players will be Campbell, Wagner and Hadfield, who repreesnted the South Island Universities this year. Tho Massey College team recently defeated Auckland University College and, in the Manawatu Rugby competition, are leading in the second round of the senior championship, after defeating Kia Toa (1937 and 1938 champions), Old Boys and United. Massey College Full-back: Blackley. Three-quarteif: Mitchell, Guild, Little. Five-eighths: McCracken, Stewart (3). Half-back: Bennett. Front row: Green, McKee, Wallace. Middle row: Gray, Terry, McLaren, Craven. Back row: Johnston. Emergencies: Petersen (back), Carter, Seeley, Thurston (forwards). The game will be played at the Palmerston North Showgrounds, starting at 3 p.m. The injured players’ benefit fund will bo augmented by proceeds from the gate charge.
