HUKANUI There was a small attendance at the monthly meeting of the Huk&nui iWomen’s Institute. The competition for the article knitted out of four skeins oi' v.-nol v.as won by Miss > 7 . jllarrington, Mrs Goodin being second. Y-o best bloom competition was. won by Mrs Harrington, with Miss Marring* ton second. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdamcs Atkins, Daldy and Hunter. An interesting demonstration on chocolate paper pictures was given by Mrs H. Giles, of Woodville.
