Jewish Leaders Condemn Terrorism
GREEK SHIP SEIZED United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. JERUSALEM, June 29. A Greek ship carrying 742 illegal Jewish immigrants has been seized off Haifa. Two land mines exploded under a train in Haifa, derailing two coaches. Two hundred Jewish leaders have issued a manifesto condemning terrorism. It is officially stated that Jews in fast moving cars were responsible for tho Televiv attacks, in which eleven Arabs were killed and five wounded. ARAB PROPAGANDA CIRCULATED IN LONDON (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, June 29, Replying to a Parliamentary question on a statement circulated by the Arab Centre in London containing allegations of atrocities by British troops and police in Palestine, the Colonial Secretary, Mr. M. MacDonald, said ho had referred it to the High Commissioner for a report upon the details, but he could say at once that it was a piece of propaganda containing a mass of misstatements.
