From Our Own Correspondent. Rifle Club Shoot Only two possibles were recorded at the weekly rifle club shoot, by G. # Robinson and N. Leet. The buttons were won by G. Robinson (A grade), M. At the conclusion of the shoot the members assembled at the supper table to farewell Mr. G. Robinson, who is leaving the district. On behalf of the club members, Mr. 1. N. Leet expressed the regret at having to lose the services of such a valued member as Air. Robinson had been over the last few years. He hoped that he would enjoy happiness and success in his new sur rounding, and, on behalf of the club, ask ed Mr. Robinson to accept the gift of a modern chrome mantel clock as a mark of appreciation of his services. Air Robinson was also the recipient of the tropny, presented by Air. Ellery, which he had won this season. Air. Robinson thank ed the members for their gift and ex pressed the hope that the club would prosper in the future. Rifle Competition The Oliakea and Sandon Clubs met on the local range on Wednesday night for the return match, Sandon having a decisive win in the Cliffe-Remington match and a draw resulting in the AI.AI.K.A. match. Good scores were put on by G Robinson and 11. Ellery but the rest oi tne Ohakea A team did not live up to their recent performances J. Fagan ana K. Jlenson shot well lor Sandon.
