Mrs. L. C. Hurley is visiting Carterton where she has been for somo time.
Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Hartridge are visiting Wellington for the week-end.
Mr. and Mrs. T. G. Jamieson have returned from a extended visit to Auckland.
Mr. W. E. Davies, of Pongaroa, a former resident of Woodville revisited the town this week.
Mr. A. Newman, of the locomotive branch, Palmerston North, lias been transferred to Woodville.
Mr. R. Court of the Woodville telephone exchange staff is not in the best of health aud is applying for a period oi sick leave.
Miss Betty Halpin, of Woodville, who is a member of the staff of the Dannevirke Hospital, has been advised that she has passed her first year Stato anatomy examination. Mr. M. B. Drower, of To Aroha, Thames, has been appointed to relieve in tho Woodville branch of tho Bank of New Zealand when Mr. W. Grumitt goes on annual leave next week.
